Job Description

LA28-USOPP does not provide relocation assistance.

LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The United States Olympic and Paralympic Properties (USOPP) is the commercial joint venture between LA28 and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), charged with marketing and selling combined commercial assets, including rights to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams (Team USA) and the LA28 Games. We are on a singular mission to create an Olympic and Paralympic Games that celebrate all that this city and country have to offer, delivering an unparalleled experience for athletes, fans, partners and our community.

The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. This presents the unique and exciting opportunity to celebrate our legacy with the Games and push the Olympic and Paralympic Movements forward, writing a new chapter of Games history in Los Angeles.

Putting on an Olympic and Paralympic Games is a team sport. To build a Games unlike any the world has seen before, we need the best team in place–a team full of diverse perspectives, experiences and expertise. We are guided by the following set of values and behaviors–optimism, integrity, excellence, inclusion, co-creation and boldness–and look forward to hearing about how your past experiences align with them.

Director Partner Operations:

On behalf of LA28, USOPC, and USOPP, the Partner Operations (PO) team plays a critical role in enabling the success of the Partnership Marketing (PM) team by leading all operational responsibilities, systems, and processes required to effectively deliver on Commercial Partner commitments. PO is a core function within the broader USOPP Commercial Partnerships Team.

Rooted in operational excellence and driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, the role of the Director, who will report directly to the Vice President, Partnership Marketing, is designed to be the backbone of the partner delivery model, supporting the seamless execution of all contractual rights, benefits, and activations across the LA28 and Team USA portfolios. This team member will work cross-functionally to optimize client experiences, activation planning, internal workflows, deliverable tracking, and reporting—all to ensure best-in-class partner servicing.

The Director will also lead coordination across multiple internal departments, as well as external stakeholder partners including the USOPC, IOC, and IPC to ensure alignment, accountability, and readiness in support of Partner-related milestones and activations.

With a deep understanding of sponsorship operations, event marketing logistics, project management, and cross-functional coordination, the Director will ensure that the USOPP operational foundation enhances the commercial strategy, enables world-class partner servicing, and delivers measurable value to LA28, Team USA, and our Commercial Partners. A successful candidate will bring a mindset of operational innovation, a proactive approach to stakeholder management, and a proven ability to implement scalable systems that support a high-performing marketing team.

  • Support the tracking, coordination, and fulfillment of Partner-supplied products and services across LA28 and the USOPC, ensuring the supply is maximized
  • Actively contribute to LA28’s cross-org project management and planning processes to ensure all Partner commitments, milestones, and interdependencies are tracked, communicated, and executed in a timely manner
