We are seeking a Director of Security Engineering who will play a key role in managing and growing teams of talented security engineers, architects and analysts to ensure a timely and effective delivery of work and collaborate with other cross functional teams to amplify and enhance deliverables.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Manage and grow teams of talented security engineers, architects and analysts to ensure a timely and effective delivery of work and collaborate with other cross functional teams to amplify and enhance deliverables.
  • Set effective strategies to deploy security tooling, manage configurations and optimize output to ensure comprehensiveness in coverage and aligned to risk mitigation goals.
  • Lead automation strategies to continuously drive and enhance optimization of security telemetry, solutions and align towards reducing cost while increasing efficacy.
  • Lead an effective vulnerability management program, taking results from automated scans and working with the highest levels of leadership to prioritize engineering initiatives to resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Engage at an architecture level to recommend designs and scaling  for necessary growth and contribute to shaping the future of the security organization
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to align security functionality with their roadmaps and  champion for new features and fixes
  • Manage cyber defense tooling and capabilities by supporting associated solutions such as SIEMS, data pipelines, data-lakes, aid in automation of detection rules and also partner over incident response.
  • Represent Peloton in industry events and attract talent.
  • Establish roadmaps and build KPIs for an effective execution on cybersecurity deliverables.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • Proven track record of building a strong engineering culture and in managing a high performing team.
  • Strong technical curiosity, passionate about building and designing innovative solutions.
  • Experience building effective cross organizational relationship and common solutions that prioritize security 
  • Strong, open communicator who is able to to take risks and drive meaningful change 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, product driven environment

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.

Base Salary Range
$247,200$321,400 USD
