Location and travel requirements:
This is a Toronto-based position with the expectation that the successful candidate be onsite at our office location a minimum of 3 days per week. At times, more onsite time may be required due to employee or company events. Some infrequent travel could be required for special events, meetings, or conferences (less than 5% of the time).

As an Employee Experience Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects our commitment to a culture of excellence, wellness, and growth. With a minimum expectation of three days per week in our Toronto office, you'll have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation that sets us apart.

Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement, Culture and Wellbeing:
- Collaborate closely with People & Culture, Senior Leadership and other stakeholders to strategically curate and enhance key "moments that matter" across the employee journey.
- Plan, coordinate, and actively participate in a diverse calendar of onsite and virtual employee engagement events. Whether it's casual team-building activities, wellness workshops, or company-wide cultural celebrations, create experiences that promote our company values and strengthen connections within the organization.
- Analyze Employee Engagement survey results and translate feedback into actionable insights to continuously improve our employee experience.
- Support with the development of initiatives that reinforce employer branding (distribution of SWAG, social media posts, Glassdoor responses, etc.) Help amplify our company culture and values both internally and externally.
- Optimize internal communication channels to ensure information flows seamlessly across the organization. Leverage technology to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Champion a positive and inclusive work environment by integrating Diversity, Equity, Belonging, Inclusion & Accessibility principles into all our programs and processes to ensure all voices are heard and valued.
Workplace Experience:
- Manage day-to-day Toronto office operations to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace that supports productivity and wellbeing.
- Coordinate weekly team lunches and socials to create opportunities for our team to bond and recharge.
- Keep a pulse on inventory levels and anticipate needs to maintain a well-stocked and welcoming office environment including supplies, snacks, equipment, etc. to ensure our team has everything they need to thrive.
- Be the go-to person for any office-related inquiries or issues, providing exceptional service and support to our team.
New Hire Onboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for all new employees, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from day one.
- Create and maintain new employee welcome toolkits and systems to streamline the onboarding process and empower new hires to hit the ground running.
- Facilitate and optimize New Hire Orientation sessions and Week 1 agendas.
- Conduct onboarding surveys, analyze results and action feedback to improve our onboarding program based on employee feedback and best practices.
- Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in Employee & Workplace Experience, present recommendations and implement strategies to enhance the overall employee journe
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in employee relations, or related roles, with a focus on enhancing employee experience and engagement.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach and a passion for building relationships.
- Creative thinker with a forward-thinking mindset, constantly seeking opportunities to innovate and improve processes.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software applications.
- This is a Toronto-based position with the expectation that the successful candidate be onsite at our office location a minimum of 3 days per week. At times, more onsite time or evening work may be required due to employee or company events.
- Availability for infrequent travel (less than 5% of the time) for special events, meetings, or conferences, contributing to the success of our initiatives on a broader scale.
