Employee Experience Program Manager

Alma is seeking an Employee Experience Manager to play a pivotal role in creating and managing initiatives that enhance the overall experience of employees within the organization as we continue to grow.

In this role, you will manage and track the processes required to provide a great employee experience. Your focus will be on creating programming that enhances the remote experience and connection of our distributed, remote-first, teams. You recognize the employees’ perspectives, stay connected to them, make them feel part of the team, and create a positive and productive work environment that fosters engagement, inclusivity, and understanding. While there is a piece of this role that is event planning, that is not the main focus - experience in the People & Culture (P&C) space working with remote teams is necessary for the position.

What you’ll do:

  • Ideate, plan, and iterate on ways to enhance the remote work experience, creating programming opportunities for teams to connect with each other and the organization.
  • Own driving engagement with the Director of People & Culture and executing the engagement survey and pulse cycles through the year (including analyzing data, reporting, presenting, and actioning on results).
  • Create an Employee Experience Programming Calendar, partnering with relevant stakeholders (People & Culture, Finance/Accounting, and various departments across Alma).
  • Own, run, and iterate programs like Alma’s Anniversary Program and our monthly P&C Newsletter.
  • Serve as a System Administrator of Lattice (for surveys) and Navan (for travel management).
  • Budget ownership in partnership with Finance for virtual events, swag, and our anniversary program.
  • Present ideas, data, and results of cultural programming to stakeholders and the broader team.
  • Ad hoc support for P&C-led programming, including partnering with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team on cultural programming.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure all policies associated with travel and planning for team-specific offsites are formalized and documented.

Who you are:

  • You have 3-5 years of experience working in Employee Experience and/or designing and driving relevant programming on a People Team.
  • You have experience utilizing Lattice, Navan, and/or similar People tools or platforms.
  • You are a self-starter with a strong track record of reliability and ownership, within a remote and/or start-up environment.
  • You have experience working with scaling organizations and running events for 500+ people.
  • You have strong project management, planning, and time management skills.
  • You have excellent communication skills, being able to explain ideas clearly and concisely while championing partnership.
  • You are dedicated to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B), to help foster a culture of belonging.
  • You are able to travel to New York City for live, in-person events a minimum of twice a year.
  • You are data-driven, innovative, creative, and detail-oriented.

Benefits:

  • We’re a remote-first company
  • Health insurance plans through Cigna (medical and dental) and MetLife (vision), including FSA & HSA plans
  • 401k plan (Roth and traditional)
  • Free Alma platform access
  • Monthly therapy and wellness stipends
  • Monthly co-working space membership stipend
  • Monthly work-from-home stipend to power your wifi, lunches, coffee, etc
  • Pet discount program through United Pet Care
  • Financial perks and rewards through BenefitHub
  • Free EAP access through LifeWorks
  • One-time home office stipend to set up your home office
  • Comprehensive parental leave plans
  • 9 paid holidays, 1 Alma Mental Health Day, and 1 Alma Volunteering Day
  • Flexible PTO
