This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most iconic and successful race teams in the world, Atlassian Williams Racing.
The Events Sim Technician will join the Esports events team to deliver an industry-leading experience to any and all guests participating in a simulator experiential event anywhere in the world. Reporting to the Head of Esports Events, this role will play a key part in delivering events that enhance the Williams brand and guest experience. This role will be based on-site at Grove five days a week.
Main Duties:
- Ongoing management and maintenance of the sim racing hardware and software of all esports sim equipment, including sourcing, repairs, replacements and upgrades of all equipment
- Technical operations of the fleet of event simulators and equipment across multiple sites in multiple countries, including keeping up to date stock and maintenance documents tracking the provision, storage, preparation and use of equipment from multiple suppliers
- Co-ordinate shipping of simulator equipment to & from HQ, storage units and supply to & from drivers and suppliers
- Provision, preparation and fulfilment of equipment for sim sales orders
- Supporting with hands-on, front-of-house event and guest management for partner, fan, internal and other events
- Co-ordination and delivery of events taking place in the Esports Lounge
- Supporting the Esports team with activity as required for partner events, driver training sessions and boot camps, media & sponsor events, and content production
- Liaise with third party agencies and suppliers, building strong working relationships and managing output
- Supporting the wider Experience Centre and STEM teams with events as required
- Acts as a brand champion, ensuring the Williams brand is represented correctly and consistently across all content output.
- May require flexible and unsociable working hours and some travel, depending on the event calendar and team requirements

Qualifications and Experience Level:
- Extensive knowledge of sim racing hardware and software
- Minimum two years’ experience working with sim racing hardware in a professional capacity
- A related qualification is advantageous but not essential
