As Esports Live Broadcast Producer, you are accountable for overall delivery and quality of our esports events in SEA markets. You will liaise between Riot-hired vendors and contractors related to the event and broadcast production. You will be the main contact for building the production and many aspects and assets of the event (lighting design, scenic design, opening ceremony execution, video production needs, regional partners, different player management needs, press needs, broadcast needs), reporting to the Esports Live Broadcast Lead - SEA. You will also develop a forecast with the Esports Live Broadcast Lead, and build the production of the event within the forecasted budget. You will be the essential “air traffic control” for all departments (business development, press, photography, live ops, features) in Riot related to an event, along with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Produce live Esports broadcasts. Craft show structure and source relevant show elements, assist in script review and talent development, test and incorporate new show builds and tech elements, build rundowns, and manage Esports staff.
• Liaise with all internal stakeholders such as esports product team, marketing, commercial partnership etc. and external stakeholders such as operation partners and vendors to determine scheduling, verify show info, accommodate sponsorship stunts, align online content and crossovers, rehearse and execute shows, and address all other broadcast needs.
• Manage the broadcast process from pre-production and load-in through wrap of show and load out.
• Know how to create a television show from start to finish.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience as a line producer
• Experience planning and managing budgets
• Managerial skills of managing multiple vendors of many people simultaneously

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Autocad software
• Budget Management Software (MovieMagic, Showbiz, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets))
• Experience in the sports industry, having empathy towards sports fandom
