Fnatic is currently in search of a Performance/Executive Chef to join our Berlin-based esports teams. Operating from our cutting-edge Berlin Performance facility, you will collaborate closely with our Esports Performance staff to craft nutritious and balanced meals tailored to the specific needs of our players. You will also have the creative freedom to design menus that both surprise and delight our team.
A comprehensive overview of the required working pattern and practical requirements will be shared with interested candidates.
Your mission is to:Prepare a comprehensive menu featuring two main meals and snacks six days a week during the competitive season, prioritising nutritional value and attractive presentationDevelop an understanding of individual dietary needs and preferences, offering alternative options where feasibleCollaborate with our Esports Performance Lead to optimise player performance through improved nutrition and hydration, participating in the creation of healthy dietary plansHandle weekly grocery shopping and manage food stocks within the designated budgetMaintain a clean and professional workspace, ensuring proper cleaning and storage of kitchen utensils and cookwareMonitor food stores, ensuring freshness and adherence to use-before datesCoordinate with the Esports Operations team and external providers to keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and organisedCultivate a positive social environment, providing a reprieve from the pressures of work and practiceAdhere to food hygiene and safety guidelines, and ensure other relevant parties are informed about themWe're looking for:Knowledge of a variety of international cuisines (Korean/East Asian desirable)Exemplary hygiene practices and a strong commitment to safetyStrong time management and planning skillsAn approachable team player who strives to accommodate requestsA meticulous individual who takes pride in the quality of their workQualification in sports nutrition or a related discipline is a bonusExcellent verbal communication skills in English, additional languages desirableDiversity, Equity & Inclusion: #AlwaysFnatic
