THE JOB / Event Executive (Legacy Sports) (Financial Services Client)

EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.

We are looking for an Event Executive to join our dynamic team to support the execution of consumer and community-based experiences for our financial services client. This role supports a dedicated team that creates events supporting our client’s integrated campaigns. Our campaigns feature programming with iconic sports & CSR partnerships – including MLB, NFL and Special Olympics properties!

Our ideal candidate will need to be a driven and hard-working member of an ambitious team, have excellent communication skills and a passion for creating inspiring and impactful experiences. We are also looking for someone who is a self-starter, organized, detail oriented, and a creative thinker. This role will work in a team environment with a diverse group of people from different cultural backgrounds and will report to the team’s Event Manager.  

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

• Support day-to-day team functions to help the team succeed
• Support teammates with planning and execution of multiple on-the-ground activations
• Prepare necessary event documents including event guides, status reports, inventory tracking documents, etc.
• Assist with vendor management and logistical planning
• Develop a knowledge and understanding of financial service client’s sponsorship portfolio and business initiatives
• Participate in brainstorms and creative ideation and provide research as requested
• Additional projects as assigned, which may include: assistance on other events/programs, competitive research, POVs, property research, etc.
• Domestic event travel will be required throughout the year, including nights and weekends

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A passion for sports, cause, film, and events/experiences, ranging from large-scale custom experiences to small-scale turnkey events
• 1-3 years’ event-related experience preferred
• The mindset that no job is too small or too big, with a can-do attitude and desire to succeed & learn
• An individual who is coachable and willing to adapt in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solver
• You’re a go-getter, who demonstrates initiative and embraces new challenges
• Willingness to brainstorm fun ideas and bring them to life
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%)

This position pays $40,000, is overtime-eligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
