*Please note, this is an hourly contract position working up to 40 hours per week to cover a parental leave of absence. The anticipated pay range for this position is $50-55/hour.

Your impact. 

As the Events Marketing Lead at HealthJoy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence and driving strategic growth through impactful event initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass crafting and executing comprehensive event strategies that align with our business objectives and resonate with our target audience. You will be tasked with identifying and evaluating relevant industry events, conferences, trade shows,  and virtual events (webinars) leveraging them as platforms to showcase our products and services to key stakeholders. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will oversee the end-to-end execution of events, from conceptualizing engaging booth experiences to coordinating speaking opportunities and sponsorships. Moreover, you will harness events as opportunities to generate leads, nurture existing relationships, and glean valuable market insights. Through your strategic prowess, creative vision, and data-driven approach, you will elevate our brand presence and foster meaningful engagement, driving tangible results that contribute to our continued success and growth in the Health Care Navigation landscape. You will have solid experience in event production for startups. The Events Marketing Lead will be able to be creative in expanding our event strategy and execution while collaborating with different departments within the team.

  • Manage and coordinate in person and virtual events (webinars) which includes overall planning and detailed execution, from events vetting,  calendar planning, objective settings, budget control, pre-event, on-site and post event coordination
  • Overseeing the Swag production for HealthJoy produced events end-to-end
  • Managing vendor contracts, including negotiation, review, and execution
  • Collaborating with Content and Design teams to create event materials + copy such as invites and campaigns; may include coordinating with local video/photographers to capture onsite content
  • Overseeing event setup and ensuring that all elements are in place according to the event plan
  • Conducting post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan, manage and coordinate internal team events, including internal offsites
  • The core responsibility for this person will be to design integrated campaigns that leverage online and offline strategies to accelerate sales pipeline growth. Define the appropriate mix of campaign elements (content, events, digital media, etc.) to deliver conversion goals aligned with company objectives
  • Build and maintain event programs across channels. Optimize digital strategy for landing pages and the blog, driving additional lead generation through online channels
  • Manage virtual and in-person events, from concept and audience targeting to execution, including conferences, sales events, and webinars that generate new leads and drive meetings. 
  • Monitor channel performance and identify areas for optimization, consistently iterating and improving programs through A/B testing, measurement and optimization
  • Measure, analyze, and report on all campaigns for effectiveness to the organization, creating a weekly set of dashboards and reports showcasing KPIs for the executive team. The manager will be responsible for metrics including: Leads, MQLs and SQLs, Conversion rates, Cost per lead, and more
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Product Marketing, Design, Content Marketing and Sales to produce effective campaigns

Your experience.

  • 5-8 years experience in event production experience is preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred
  • Bonus points if you have worked at a high-growth B2B SaaS or tech company 
  • Individual contributor who is well organized, disciplined and effective when working autonomously on tasks and projects 
  • Detail oriented and execution-focused, proactive, responsible and responsive 
  • Efficient executor who can work across multiple tasks, at pace, in a B2B start-up environment 
  • Ability to think and work strategically 
  • Ability to track progress and push through completion of tasks expediently 
  • Proficient at using data and metrics to review performance of tasks and projects 
  • Proven work experience driving, managing, and creating programs to drive Marketing KPIs
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use data to inform all decisions 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an understanding of ad platforms, A/B testing, marketing analytics, and ROI attribution to report and optimize marketing performance
  • Deep expertise in developing enterprise marketing channels - digital programs, thought leadership, content syndication, channel partners, webinars, website, events, and more
  • Experience negotiating and managing sponsored partnerships to deliver leads from webinars, events, content syndication or thought leadership
  • Creativity to build demand generation in collaboration with channel partners such as brokers and HR consultants
  • Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, responsive, collaborative and committed person with a high work ethic 
  • High class communicator who can articulate their views succinctly on calls or asynchronously 
  • A great listener who understands when to listen first and engages well with colleagues 
  • Balanced and calm nature which allows you to navigate the peaks and troughs of working for a start-up
