The role

The ideal Events Operations Manager is highly organized, adaptable, and has a strong background in logistics and event management, especially with high-profile, demanding clients. They thrive in high-pressure environments, remain calm under stress, and approach challenges with an owner’s mindset. This role requires a flexible schedule, including some weekends, and is on-site five days a week.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary client liaison, meeting with clients to understand their needs and providing guidance on event setup and requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships by coordinating with vendors and ensuring smooth communication throughout events
  • Oversee the submission of bids, execution of contracts, and completion of necessary paperwork, including insurance documentation
  • Handle budgeting for events, including setting and managing budgets for food, beverages, and other logistical needs
  • Coordinate staffing by creating schedules, recruiting, and overseeing staff during events to ensure seamless operations
  • Supervise the setup, execution, and cleanup of events to guarantee successful outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, health, and safety standards across all event activities
  • Address and resolve issues that may arise during events with a calm, solution-oriented approach
  • Collect feedback and data post-event to guide improvements and future planning
  • Assist in event promotion efforts, maintaining open communication with clients throughout the planning and execution stages
  • Coordinate food, beverage, and supply orders for events, and manage inventory planning for bartending needs
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all food and beverage items are stocked (in partnership with an external vendor managing inventory)
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, addressing any concerns to enhance client satisfaction
  • Prepare performance reports on venue operations and event outcomes
  • Physical requirement: Lifting up to 50 lbs, or frequently lifting up to 25 lbs

What you’ll bring

  • 10-15 years of experience in event operations or logistics management, ideally with a focus on high-profile clients in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong background in food and beverage (F&B) operations, with the ability to set budgets and manage logistical requirements for F&B needs
  • Proven experience working with high-demand clients (e.g., Pepsi, Diageo) and maintaining a professional, customer-focused demeanor
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a mindset that prioritizes ownership and accountability
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, maintaining composure and optimism even in high-pressure situations
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing client relationships and event staff effectively
  • Willingness to work on-site five days a week with flexibility for occasional weekend commitments
Salary Range
$120,000$130,000 USD

Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, certifications, experience, market demands, and locations.
