As an essential leader within Learfield Studios, the Executive Producer serves as the on-the-ground creative, production and project management lead across all Learfield Studios content. Drawing on extensive creative expertise and years of content development experience, this role drives the ideation, production, and execution of a diverse slate of content in partnership with Texas. Working closely with the centralized, offsite Director of Content, the Executive Producer oversees all local production efforts, collaborating with athletic departments, University of Texas production teams, and Learfield staff to deliver a robust year-round content calendar. This role is instrumental in elevating fan engagement across school athletic channels and generating new revenue opportunities for local Learfield sales teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Lead the creation of original, branded, and NIL video and social content with school partners to grow fan engagement and drive revenue for local sales teams.

• Collaborate with property NIL staff and sales teams to identify, develop, and execute content-driven partnership opportunities. Oversee project management for all productions, ensuring timelines, staff efficiency, and workflows operate at peak effectiveness.
• Develop innovative content offerings across sponsorship, brand integration, and NIL that support athletics priorities and revenue objectives. Manage the full production schedule and resource allocation for local, national, and NIL content; build and maintain a proactive, year-round content calendar.
• Oversee creative development from concept to delivery, including writing, scheduling, producing, shooting, and supervising edits for university projects. Partner with the Director of Content and the University of Texas production teams on creative development for all Learfield-led content. Work directly with the Property Sales Team to ideate and pitch content solutions for client partnerships; lead or support sales presentations as needed.
• Collaborate with Property General Manager to develop an optimized content strategy and calendar that maximizes revenue potential. Work closely with athletic department content teams to create platform-specific content aligned with the voice and tone of each social handle, including emerging platforms. Produce, write, direct, and shoot live-action content at the university.
• Manage a team of producers and content creators across original, branded, and NIL initiatives; ensure high-quality output across all verticals. Serve as primary creative and production point of contact for internal stakeholders and school partners.
• Ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality within budget and schedule constraints. Collaborate across internal and external departments to ensure all deliverables are met for successful campaign and content launches.
• Lead as the creative and executive producer on all active projects. Act as a liaison between the school’s athletics content team, Studios’ centralized content team, and local/national sales teams.
• Optimize social distribution and promotion strategies using data and trends to refine creative decisions. Hire and supervise third-party production crews as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

12+ years of experience in sports or entertainment creating, writing, producing, and directing video content. Hands-on experience shooting, producing, and directing video.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to share strategies with executive leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Demonstrated experience in project management and overseeing production teams.
• Experience with Airtable is a plus. Deep passion for storytelling and social content that drives real fan engagement. Prior experience in sports and/or entertainment is required.
• Ability to fully own projects and serve as the primary point of contact with external partners.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse creative and production staff.
• Experience with digital, documentary, short-form, social, and influencer-driven content.
• Understanding of original, branded, and NIL content, including how content drives revenue. Direct experience with end-to-end content creation pipelines. Comprehensive understanding of production equipment, lighting, cameras/lenses, audio, and post-production workflows.
• Ability to write pitches, treatments, and short-form scripts. Strong creative ideation skills aligned to project and partner objectives.
• Ability to interpret ideas and guide teams through successful execution. Thrives in a high-energy, high-profile, proactive, deadline-driven environment with exceptional attention to detail. Highly organized, efficient, and precise in all aspects of work.
