Job Description

Barstool Sports is looking for a Facilities Operations Manager to support the Chicago office. This person will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Chicago office. They will be responsible for overseeing  all facilities and office operations and will liaison with the IT, Production and People teams of both Barstool HQ in NYC and Chicago. This person will be the primary partner for all things facilities management to all the teams in the Chicago office. Other required skills include project oversight and management, inventory management, organizational, and communication skills, and adherence to all company policies and products, including health and safety. 

This person must be located in the Chicago area and able to be in the office 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage maintenance and repair of the building and equipment, coordinating with and overseeing vendors for all services cleaning 
  • Managing facility budgets, and planning and executing renovations and office moves as needed
  • Plan out all necessary projects within the office and ensure involvement and communication to all stakeholders 
  • Determine the needs of facilities and identify areas of optimization and improvement for product flow coming into the office 
  • Implement an inventory management system for all products and brands
  • Identify the resources, equipment, funds required to ensure all projects are executed 
  • Work with production to make sure all office needs are met including handling scheduling of rooms
  • Monitor office procedures and resolve problems through collaboration with pertinent contacts; implement changes and escalate as needed
  • Ensure the efficient operation of all office equipment; arrange for routine and necessary maintenance as needed
  • Maintain office supply inventory and stock; including but not limited to office supplies, snacks, and water
  • Work with the Human Resources team to ensure all new hires are onboarded to the Office environment
  • Coordinate mail flow into and out of office, collect and organize parcels and other mail
  • Special Events setup and breakdown 
  • Communicate with NYC office operations team on all office related items
  • Coordinate and oversee the completion of special projects as needed
  • Act as the Employee Experience arm in our Chicago office through special projects and in-office events to help facilitate a best-in-class team culture

What You’ll Have

  • BA/ BS required 
  • 3-7 years of Facilities management experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Previous experience working and negotiating with vendors
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment 
  • Jack of all trades 
  • Find a way approach to getting work done
  • Ability to carry 50/70 lbs 
  • Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills to solve administrative issues
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time to meet deadlines
  • Strong Organizational skills with the ability to communicate across multiple teams 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and/or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.) required

Salary Range: $75,000-85,000k
