What You Will Do
At Veo, we are committed to building a modern and agile finance function that meets the demands of a fast-growing technology company. Our finance department is a strategic partner, delivering insights that bridge financial performance with operational excellence to empower data-driven decision-making.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be important in connecting the finance department—including Accounting, Financial Planning and analysis (FP&A), and Data and BI—with senior leadership across key departments. In this role, you can directly affect our growth by building partnerships across the organization, translating financial data into actionable insights, and ensuring our business leaders can make informed decisions.
To set you up in the role, being a trusted advisor to department heads and leadership team members, we envision you bringing some or all of the following strengths:
What You Could BringMaster’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a similar field.Deep financial literacy from 5+ years of experience in a relevant role within a finance organization or financial consulting firm.Experience working with subscription accounting and related accrual processes.Experience working closely with stakeholders throughout the organization.Solid analytical capabilities with the ability to dissect complex business issues to their core drivers.Communication skills with deep knowledge of presenting financial and operational findings in a precise, clear, and concise storyline.Collaboration skills, with experience in dealing with senior stakeholders in demanding environments.Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work presented externally.Fluency in English (both verbally and written).Being an Excel superuser and having experience with complementary tools (PowerPoint, BI interfaces, Dynamics/BC) can be beneficial.Experience with software (cost structure and optimization) is a plus but not a requirement. Responsibilities include:Provide financial and operational insights (both in monthly business reviews and on an ad hoc basis) to support business leaders in making informed decisions.Develop a deep understanding of departmental costs and financial trends, tracking them closely to identify patterns and opportunities.Work with teams across the organization to align financial strategies with departmental goals.Support budget processes and forecasts to ensure the business's evolving needs are reflected in ongoing financial planning.Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and scalability.What Values We Hold as a Team
