Let’s start with the role. 

The Financial Controls Expense Analyst serves as the primary point of contact in the Kaizen Group responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s expense reporting system, specifically SAP Concur, assisting users in resolving technical issues related to expense reporting. This role involves overseeing the timely and accurate processing of expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, identifying trends, and providing support to employees and management regarding expense submission, approval, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SAP Concur, financial reporting, and expense policy enforcement

• Serve as a primary administrator for the SAP Concur Expense system, including user setup, configuration, and maintenance;
• Monitor expense requests in accordance with company policy in Concur platform and company ERP systems;
• Create and run custom/standard reporting within Concur;
• Generate reports regarding expenses claimed, compliance, and policy adherence;
• Review and audit expense reports daily to align with current expense policy;
• Run audits related to expense management; address any findings and provide recommendations;
• Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other support materials for the corporate Expenses policy and the Concur platform;
• Provide ongoing support to employees, answering questions and resolving issues related to expense management;
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate Concur with other systems as needed;
• Conduct training sessions for employees on using the Concur system, including submitting expenses;
• Provide troubleshooting and support for Concur-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to users;
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to answer questions/concerns in a timely manner;
• Support the Financial Controls, Accounting and Accounts Payable teams.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business;
• 3-4 years of working experience in a relevant position either in Accounts Payable   or general accounting, ideally in a corporate international environment;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with a focus on SAP Concur Expense administration;
• In-depth knowledge of Concur Expense platform, including system configuration and troubleshooting; 
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft BC, is highly desirable; 
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes;
• Strong understanding of travel, expense, and invoice management processes;
• Strong project management skills;
• Ability to work effectively and proactively with cross functional teams; 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek;
• Fluency in Microsoft Excel (Pivots, Vlookups, etc.);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
