YOUR ROLE

Stio is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the Finance team to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting processes
  • Prepare financial reports on revenue, discounting, margin, and other financial KPIs
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support financial planning and analysis
  • Maintain and improve budget and forecast tools, including the actualization process
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy
  • Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasts and provide strategic insight
  • Assist in administrative duties in the preparation of the annual financial budget
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, analytics, or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
  • Comfortable with data extraction and manipulation
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of retail industry and ecommerce is a plus
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

We provide competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $70,000-$85,000. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of the range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
