As a Software Engineer in the Fleet Control Plane pod of Roblox's Compute Group, you'll take on a product and engineering-centric role to transform fleet management at scale. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager for the Machine Management layer, you'll employ Kubernetes to design autonomous and self-service systems that revolutionize capacity allocation and the lifecycle of hundreds of thousands of machines both on-premises and in the cloud. In this product and engineering-focused role, your innovative solutions will be instrumental in shaping the future of Roblox's Private Cloud.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown below are applicable to internship opportunities.
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000
