About the Role

As a Football Systems Operator, you will be working on-site at football stadiums in your region, playing a key part in the delivery of our VAR services in Parva Liga. As you gain experience in the role, you may be expected to be involved in more tournaments throughout the region, Europe, and further afield.

The role will encompass the installation and operation of our technology at matches, where you will be responsible for our systems. You will need to be prepared to work long days at weekends and midweek evenings, as we work whenever Football happens.

This role will focus on our VAR Technology service. You will gain exposure to various other services as you grow in the role and become a more experienced member of the team.

We will equip you with the technical training, support and full exposure to our systems to perform your day-to-day tasks, but also encourage development and progression to help make an impact on what we do.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage pre-match activities in the days leading up to games, which can include driving vans to the stadium

• Setting up Hawk-Eye technology in the stadium (this can involve physically demanding work, such as running cables)

• Conducting pre-match set-up, checks and calibration of the systems in accordance with standard procedures

• Liaising with stadium staff, match officials and host broadcasters on-site

• Monitoring and Operating the systems during the match while working closely with the match officials

• Monitoring hardware and software performances, being able to troubleshoot and report encountered issues

• Keep a close eye on hardware and software, troubleshooting any issues that arise.

• Build and maintain our hardware and equipment, and assist with the installation and testing of new products and services.
