Athletes Unlimited is looking for a Freelance Photographer to capture imagery during our Softball season. This position is a contract, seasonal, in-person role based in Rosemont, IL and reports to the Director, Photography.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with primary shooter to capture photographs including but not limited to: 
• Game days (3 days per week): action shots, fan shots, signage, venue activations, autograph signings, themed games, walk-in photos
• Additional events (approx. 2 events per week) Athlete or merchandise photoshoots; mid-week/special events, both at the venue and outside of the venue
• Edit, upload and organize all photos taken during the season to cloud-based storage system, inlcuding: adding keywords, tagging, and reviewing

Requirements

• Possess professional camera setup: camera body, lenses, accessories, etc.
• Own a personal laptop with photo editing software (preferably Adobe Lightroom)
• 3+ years experience photographing professional or collegiate sports
• Ability to work in the Chicago/Rosemont area for the duration of the season- July 15 to August 26, 2024

Benefits

This role is a contracted 1099 position and is compensated at a range of $800-1,200 per week, depending on experience. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications and skills. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.

Game day meals are provided by Athletes Unlimited.
