The opportunity 

Join us at our tech hub in Valencia as a goal-oriented and self-motivated Frontend Engineer! In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the monetization features of our Partner Portal, playing a key role in the business impact of your efforts. Reporting into our Engineering Manager for Partner Supply and Engagement, you will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team.

Urban Sports Club engineers are smart, flexible and great problem solvers. We follow software development best practices to build a well-specified, scalable product based on strongly modularized architecture, automated testing, and deployment. Your responsibilities 

• Take ownership of at least one major project that contributes to the growth of our partner network and enhances partner satisfaction, such as an automated partner onboarding process.
• Work on the development and maintenance of new and existing features, focusing particularly on the Urban Sports Club Partner Portal.
• Ensure excellent code quality and enforce best practices alongside your team members.
• Collaborate with your team and other disciplines (e.g., BackEnd, DevOps, Design) to meet customer needs effectively.
• Engage in innovative problem-solving with your fellow developers, generating new ideas and solutions for Urban Sports Club partners.

What you need to succeed 

• 3+ years of experience in high-quality software writing, with a strong adherence to OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code, and testing.
• Proficiency in building modern web applications using VueJS, ReactJS, or NodeJS.
• A proactive, goal-oriented, reliable, and structured approach to your work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, release-focused environment, delivering quickly and efficiently, then iterating continuously.
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of clearly conveying technical concepts to stakeholders of varying backgrounds.
• Bonus: Experience with Agile and XP practices and/or front-end performance optimization.
