Job Description

ABOUT US:

We are looking for a talented AI Engineer to join our Content Studio team. Content Studio builds next-generation AI solutions that transform live sports data into engaging narratives — including automated match reports, previews, and sports articles. This role combines hands-on software engineering with cutting-edge applied AI research, giving you the opportunity to shape how millions of fans consume sports content.

Why us?

  • Be part of the core AI engineering team building the future of sports storytelling.
  • Work with cutting-edge LLM and agent frameworks in real production environments.
  • Shape a product that reaches global sports fans every day.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Build full-stack AI applications: Develop scalable, user-facing tools for editors and automated content pipelines.
  • Integrate AI frameworks: Design and implement agentic workflows that bring sports data to life.
  • AI prompting & evaluation: Craft, test, and refine prompt strategies for data-to-text generation, ensuring factual accuracy and high-quality output.
  • Model evaluation & iteration: Run systematic evaluations of LLM output using both rule-based and human-in-the-loop feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and editorial teams to align AI capabilities with sports storytelling needs.
  • Deploy and scale: Deliver production-ready services on cloud platforms with strong monitoring, testing, and performance optimization.

Technologies We Use:

  • Full-stack development: Python, JavaScript (React, Node.js).
  • AI frameworks: LangGraph, LangChain, Google Agent Developer Kit (ADK).
  • Prompting & evaluation: LLM prompting strategies, evaluation pipelines.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Domain: Data-to-text generation, sports data APIs, automated content systems.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Solid foundation as a Full-Stack Developer (Python, JavaScript) with strong interest in AI-driven applications.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated: able to take ownership, explore new ideas, and contribute without constant direction.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — you can identify what needs doing and drive it forward with initiative and creativity.
  • Curiosity and adaptability to learn emerging AI frameworks and tools quickly.
  • Practical problem-solving mindset with focus on building production-ready systems.
  • Strong collaboration skills — you know when to align with the team, seek guidance, and share progress.
  • Bonus: experience in sports tech, media automation, or real-time data pipelines.

    OUR OFFER:

    • A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (Engineering offices in Europe, Asia and US) including various social events and teambuilding

    • Flexibility to manage your workday and tasks with autonomy

    • A balance of structure and autonomy to tackle your daily tasks.

    • Vibrant and inclusive community, including Women in Tech and Pride groups which welcome all participants.

    • Global Employee Assistance Programme.

    • Calm and Reulay app (leading well-being apps designed to support focus, quality rest, mindfulness, and long-term mental resilience).

    • Online training videos

    • Flexible working hours.

While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation—both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office three days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together.

    OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
