Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain software solutions that meet high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to scope, architect, and execute technical solutions.
Review and improve code for clarity, maintainability, and alignment with project goals and coding standards.
Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented code.
Communicate effectively in asynchronous and real-time channels, providing regular status updates and flagging risks early.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering best practices, workflows, and tools.

Qualifications

Proven experience developing software in one or more of the following programming languages: JavaScript/React, Python, PHP, Kotlin or Swift.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, version control, and the software development lifecycle.
Experience working with cloud platforms, APIs, and modern development frameworks.
Ability to write well-structured, testable, and maintainable code.
Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed environment.
Enthusiastic about solving problems, learning new tools, and collaborating across disciplines.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with containerization and DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
Background in UX, data engineering, or cybersecurity.
Open-source contributions or public portfolios of work.
