The Game & Event Presentation Coordinator will support the planning, budgeting, preparation and execution of game & event presentation for Detroit Lions games and other Lions and Ford Field events to ensure the highest quality standards in support of the Detroit Lions and Ford Field Management’s business objectives.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The  Game & Event Presentation Coordinator responsibilities include, without limitation, the following:

• Support cross-departmental communication relevant to game & event presentation elements for Lions gamedays and other Lions and Ford Field events
• Manage creative request workflow for all Game & Event Presentation elements from ideation to production programming
• Support the creation of Game & Event scripts and rundowns
• Maintain extensive working knowledge of game entertainment inventory
• Oversee music licenses and reporting while working with the game day DJ to create music cuts for in-game use
• Collaborate with the Game Production staff regarding the acquisition, loading, testing & execution of all graphics, videos and other game and event production elements
• Coordinate Game Entertainment planning with Marketing & Events staff as necessary
• Support gameday logistics for all Game Presentation elements including Corporate Partnership, Ticketing & Community Relations initiatives (scripting, timing, prizing, etc.)
• Participate in game preview and show rehearsals, gathering feedback and necessary adjustments prior to game and events
• Function as stage manager or secondary show producer for Lions games as needed
• Help facilitate post-game evaluation and feedback process for Game Presentation team
• Act as Associate Producer and secondary Showcaller for various non-Lions games and events
• Maintain Game Grid Inventory to support the game and event planning process
• Lead the offseason tracking of asset creation for Game Presentation inventory – managing timelines to allow for creative, motion graphics and production deadlines

 Ford Field & Lions Events

• Support show preparation and event presentation with internal / external clients for Ford Field events as needed (MAC Championship, MHSAA High School Football Championships, etc.)
• Act as secondary Showcaller / Event Producer or stage manager for non-Lions games/events as needed
• Support various aspects of event presentation for marketing events including Training Camp, Season Ticket Member Programming, etc,

• Must be passionate about sports and events and maintain a continued approach to learning and development to ensure an industry relevant skillset
• Will maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and other necessary software
• Must be motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Will keep appropriate information confidential
• Will adjust work schedule to meet departmental demands
• Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position. Such responsibilities shall be incorporated into the position description if they are ongoing

 QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in sports or event management, marketing, journalism, communications or related field required
• 2-5 years of professional experience in game and event presentation, live event production or sports management required. Experience with a professional sports team and/or entertainment venue preferred
• General understanding of NFL rules, teams, players and culture
• Evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to connect with, and relate to all levels of staff
• Strength in time management, administrative ability, organization, and customer service skills
• Strong computer skills including experience with MS Office products, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to learn new programs.
• Will adjust schedule as needed to meet work goals and time constraints, including working nights, weekends, and holidays as football schedule directs
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
• May require work out of both the Ford Field and the Meijer Performance Training Facility
