Job Overview

Game Integration Manager represents Platform to game teams and serve as a primary point to them in all Platform-related activities. GIM is responsible for successful onboarding and support of Game Product’s integrations to WG Platform. When necessary, serves as a catalyst and the “glue” to various cross-department initiatives within the Platform organization to deliver against game’s needs. Strives to maintain continuous communication with various groups within game product group to provide them with guidance and transparency along the integration process. As a part of the job, GIM drives customer needs and requirements into Platform feature roadmaps aimed to improve and develop Platform as a product. GIM also serves as the main source of information about the games, their plans, roadmaps and other details for Platform teams to ensure alignment and prolific cooperation.

What will you do?

  • Represents Platform to game teams and serve as a single contact point for them in all platform-related activities
  • Responsible for successful integration of games with Platform infrastructure
  • Leads game teams’ onboarding and guidance into Platform capabilities, processes and tooling
  • Help game teams with necessary configurations, initial settings and integrations
  • Possesses sufficient knowledge about the games under his/her supervision regarding plans, priorities, events and roadmaps to help align them with platform development plans
  • Helps promote and popularize platform features among game teams to ensure their visibility and development
  • Ensures timely and quality delivery on games’ custom requests in Platform while maintaining healthy, prolific and long-lasting relationships with Game Product Groups
  • Help coordinate complex cross-team integration projects to align activities of all involved teams across Platform and other groups and eliminate impediments to successful delivery
  • Tests new features and APIs on integration environments and provide feedback to development teams
  • Collaborate with development teams to create and maintain user-facing documentation: integration guides, instructions and API references
  • Help Platform development teams balance priorities between custom requests and Platform product features
  • Help improve user journey of game developers who work with platform by initiating new features and improvements based bon aggregated information form customer

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience in game development as a project manager or engineer with management potential
  • Understanding of Game Development Life Cycle and game operations
  • Strong ability to multitask and work under tight schedules and multiple work streams
  • Experience in coordination large scale cross-team projects
  • High level of competency in stakeholder management and good communication skills
  • Understanding game platforms and their operations
  • Being active gamer and strong knowledge on industry trends is a plus
  • Being at ease reach out and engage with game developers on and offline
