THE POSITION

FanDuel is looking for a Generosity Strategy Senior Manager to own & drive medium- to long-term strategy for one of our most significant investment areas – key lifecycle and promotional investments. This role will help to define strategic goals, guide investment decisions, and set priorities for one of our business’s biggest cost drivers. You will play a key role on the Customer Growth team, driving innovation across the organization, collaborating with multiple departments including but not limited to Promotions, Lifecycle, Go-To-Market, Analytics, Commercial, Data Science, Product, and MarTech. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate revenue-driving marketing initiatives at a premier gaming company.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Generosity Strategy & Leadership
    • Lead FanDuel Sportsbook’s medium- to long-term rewards strategy by continuously challenging current approaches and redefining how, when, and why we deliver rewards to our customers
    • Develop and evolve strategic frameworks, including regional investment and cohort strategies, in collaboration with our performance, insights, and campaign teams
    • Explore and shape new marketing strategies for user engagement – including segmentation evolution, channel management, and more
    • Define, validate, and refine new potential reward propositions for Sportsbook marketing – such as ongoing rewards program – in close collaboration with analytics partners
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on rewards strategy and its behavioral impacts
  • Team Management & Talent Development
    • Manage a team of strategic and analytical talent, with a focus on mentorship, growth, and developing talent within FanDuel
  • Scaling Customer Impact
    • Unlock opportunities by collaborating on new tooling strategies, infrastructure, and data-led projects
    • Champion scaled personalization by working closely with technical and creative teams to deliver more tailored customer experiences

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy and / or analytics including 2 years of management experience; marketing experience with creating and managing campaigns end to end is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (preferred in marketing or business); MBA is a plus
  • Expansive, sharp, and strategic thinker with a strong track record of driving complex initiatives & projects and challenging thoughts & ideas
  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities with the ability to lead a team of analysts and strategists
  • An energizing leader that is passionate and effective at building and developing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer
  • Strong customer empathy and consumer product sensibilities  
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills and effective at stakeholder management
  • Experience working with marketing campaigns teams in applying strategy to customer facing propositions
  • Strong understanding of CRM platform and commercial metrics
  • Positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
  • An avid sports and gaming fan, and have played FanDuel or competitive products
  • Willing to work nontraditional hours as needed due to seasonal sporting calendars

The applicable salary range for this position is $127,000 - $166,950 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
