What are we looking for?

We are expanding in Germany and are looking for remote counselors to join our network. This is a unique opportunity to help launch our services in these countries, delivering high-quality care while assisting with platform feedback and localization. Therapists in these countries can focus on clinical expertise while we handle everything else, from client acquisition to billing.

What You'll Do

• Maintain a caseload during a 90-day contract (approximately 30 hours per week).
• Participate in platform localization efforts by providing feedback.
• Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to address any platform issues pre- and post-launch.
• Continue as an independent counselor on the BetterHelp platform after the 90-day contract if desired.

Requirements

• 3+ years of counseling experience.
• Credentialed to practice as a Psychologen (Psychological Counselor) or Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie (Alternative Practitioner).
• Must be able to speak English and German. 
• A private, professional environment to conduct therapy.
• Excellent written communication.
• A reliable internet connection.

Additional Details:

• This is an independent contractor role with a 90-day contract, starting in mid-November. Compensation is guaranteed and paid out weekly. Once the contract is completed, you can continue as an independent counselor on the platform.
