A Global Benefits Consultant plays a critical role in managing and optimizing employee benefits and leave policies across different countries and regions. This position requires a deep understanding of international labor laws, cultural differences, and the strategic alignment of benefits programs with overall business goals.  This person will be responsible for providing expert advice and strategic guidance regarding Niantic Labs employee benefits programs. This role involves analyzing current benefits plans, recommending improvements, ensuring compliance with local laws, and managing the implementation of benefits strategies across different regions. This will be a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

  1. Policy Development and Management:
    • Design, implement, and manage global benefits and leave policies.
    • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in each country of operation.
    • Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in legislation and market practices.
  2. Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute a global benefits strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
    • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive benefits offerings.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  3. Employee Support and Communication:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits and leave queries.
    • Develop and distribute clear, concise communication materials about benefits programs.
    • Conduct informational sessions and training for employees on available benefits.
  4. Vendor Management:
    • Select and manage relationships with benefits providers and vendors.
    • Negotiate contracts and ensure service levels meet company standards.
    • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues that arise.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze benefits utilization and costs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on the status and effectiveness of benefits programs.
    • Use data to drive decision-making and policy adjustments.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all benefits programs comply with international, federal, and local regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to mitigate risks.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and industry trends.

The hourly rate for this role is between $75.00/hr - $100.00/hr.

This is a contractor position and the work should be performed based on service agreement and SOW. Niantic will not offer Contractor direct employment contract, salary, benefits, equities, or any compensation associated with employment. #LI-HYBRID

 

Estimated Salary range:
