Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.
We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.
That's where you come in.
The Global Media Coordinator (Contract) reports to the Global Media Asset Manager. Core responsibilities are to support aggregation of Global and Regional media to Riot’s Global Content Platform, and to ensure integrity and metadata accuracy of our content. On an ongoing basis, the Media Coordinator may be in charge of day-to-day coordination with operators, producers and users of the Global Content Platform. The Global Media Coordinator will build and maintain strong relationships with our regional content partners, while fostering a pipeline of feedback, feature and workflow requests to be addressed by the GCO team. Critically, they will support the Global Content Operations structure through monitoring, processing, reporting, tracking and escalation of support requests, as well as documentation of processes and bugs that may be identified within the systems.
The preferred candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work well under tight deadlines, with the capacity to work across several teams to continually help users, document processes, and represent team feedback for software and hardware improvements. This candidate should have demonstrated the ability to thrive in detail oriented and, at times, repetitive tasks, and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
