As a Graphics Operator / Video Information Officer (VIO), you will be working at the Replay Centre in Stockley Park, playing a key part in the relaying of information from the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to the fans and broadcasters of the Premier League.
On a match day, you will arrive at the replay centre 1 hour before kick-off and up to 30 minutes after the final whistle. You’ll not only need to be prepared to regularly work at weekends but also be available for mid-week evening fixtures.
You will have direct ownership in the operation of the system and will gain exposure to various other services as you grow in the role and become a more experienced member of the team. We will provide you with the technical training, foundations and full exposure to our systems.
Providing live graphics to the stadium, letting the crowd know what is being checked in a timely manner
Conducting pre-match checks in the replay centre
Liaising with match officials, host broadcasters and the Hawk-Eye team
Monitoring the system during the match
Assisting the team with troubleshooting if any issues occur
A good technical grounding
Quick learner who can adapt and work under pressure
An understanding and knowledge of Football and the laws of the game.
Bright and enterprising, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive attitude, ability to work on your initiative and embrace responsibility
Time management skills and ability to work in a high-pressure, live broadcast environment
Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable
