As Vizrt Group Credit Manager, you will play a critical role in credit risk management and cash collection. You will be very much hands on in all processes and develop, implement and quality assure new and existing routines. In this role you will work closely with the Region Finance Managers as well as Group accounting and FP&A. You will lead an international team and cover part of the operations yourself.

Credit risk management

·         Put in place a Group Credit Management Policy and make sure it is respected in all regions

  • Participate in the development, maintenance and documentation of the customer risk matrix and its methodology
  • Drive the work with updating credit management procedures
  • Update and monitor a credit tracker file by region/business and preparing a monthly credit management dashboard
  • Carry out credit assessments during the initial negotiation phase and advise on credit risks
  • Make sure hold list and credit limits are managed adequately and in line with Credit Management Policy
  • Train the credit community, business developers and sales staff on the processes and different levels of customer credit risk
  • Analyze the opportunity of putting in place a Credit Insurance and manage the relationship with Credit Insurance companies
  • Contribute to ad hoc analysis of customer credit risk (evaluation of new projects, etc)
  • Carry out ad hoc analyses of credit risk or methodology in connection with discussions with banks
  • Manage automation projects (e.g. selection and implementation of a Credit Management Tool)

 

Monitoring and reducing overdues

  • Support subsidiaries in setting up monitoring and control of overdues
  • Prepare monthly dashboards with Aging Balance, DSO and action plans by Region/Subsidiary/Business.
  • Take part directly in dunning actions on a daily basis, in coordination with regional finance teams, contacting end customers directly, either by e-mail or by phone
  • Coordinate efforts from all internal stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Logistics, Customer Success), in order to optimize cash collection timeline
  • Make sure overdues targets are reached and put in place the adequate action plan to do so
  • Handle disputes and litigations, in coordination with Legal and Sales teams
  • Contribute to cash forecasting by providing figures on forecasted client receivables amounts

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in finance or equivalent
  • 5-10 years minimum experience in the Credit Management space
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in the software- or professional services industry will be an advantage
  • Experience in a very international environment is needed (multi-cultural, used to working with different time zones, used to working in different currencies, etc.)
  • Enjoys working in a high pace and demanding environment with high attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills, and used to interacting with end customers by e-mail and over the phone and able to contribute to a great team spirit.
  • Experience of IFRS is a plus
  • Used to interacting with other teams internally (Sales, Customer Success, Logistics, etc.)
  • Self-starter, who is willing and able to take initiative and get truly involved.
  • Team player
