PROGRAM DATES: June 3 - June 15, 2024
Octagon Talent + Properties is hosting a paid, two-week virtual intensive program (June 3-June 15) to introduce and expose HBCU students to the extensive career opportunities that exist in the realm of talent representation. We will provide deep dives into the roles, responsibilities, and career paths of athlete and talent representation professionals including:
Students will have the opportunity to participate in mentoring circles with agency professionals that have been in the industry for 20+ years.
As part of the HBCU Virtual Career Accelerator Program, students will participate in a Case Study Challenge utilizing insights gained from the program experience.
The program will culminate with an in-person networking event in Washington D.C.
Hourly compensation will be provided, as well as travel, food, and lodging.
Submit your resume along with a 90-second video submission demonstrating why you should be selected to participate in the Octagon HBCU career accelerator program.

All materials should be uploaded to your Google Drive and sent via the following steps:
1.Title the resume “FirstNameLastNameOCT” and the video “FirstNameLastNameVideo” (ex.: “MakaylaJacksonOCT” and “MakaylaJacksonVideo”)
2.Share both documents with Makayla.jackson@octagon.com
3.Click “Share Anyway” when Google requests to send the doc, and you will receive confirmation in 48 hours that your documents have been received
