CrossFit is looking to hire an experience Head of EDU Content. You will build and lead a world-class content team responsible for setting the fitness industry industry gold-standard for high-quality written and video educational content and courses. In collaboration with the Brand team, you will develop the educational content strategy for meeting ambitious educational content and brand sentiment goals. This role will manage the educational content calendar and drive the execution, organization and delivery of a large number of simultaneous projects..
  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
      Accountable for delivering against the strategic roadmap and calendar for all educational content projects.
      Accountable for end-to-end management and delivery of content projects on the strategic roadmap.
      Responsible for building the content calendar and framework for deciding and prioritizing content initiatives.
      Responsible for budgeting and managing deliverables against a budget. 
      Build a high functioning content team that includes internal and external resources.
      Manage relationships with stakeholders across the company to support delivery of educational courses and content priorities.
      Establish and manage a robust content feedback program that improves the quality and relevance of EDU content towards our brand goals and target audiences.
      Establish and maintain internal working processes that enable multiple parallel deliveries against an aggressive and ongoing release schedule.
 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
      Demonstrated expert writing skills.
      Expert level knowledge of CrossFit's training methodology and existing course products.
      Experience working in a content management related field.
      Excellent business acumen and proven ability to work against aggressive revenue and timeline targets.
      Self motivated, highly collaborative and hard-working with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to wear multiple hats to meet specified project goals, timelines and budgetary requirements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
      Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Literature or Writing, Instructional Design or Health, Nutrition, Sport Science or a related field
      5+ years as a content strategist and project management experience
      Experience with curriculum development, writing and copy editing, and managing a team of content writers
      PMP Certification
      CF-L2 or higher (preferred)
