As Head of Labs UK, you will lead the establishment and operation of a cutting-edge blood laboratory network across the UK. Reporting to the Medical Quality Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of laboratory medicine within our organisation, delivering rapid, reliable results that directly impact patient care and organisational growth.
Location: UK – London and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do:Lead and scale a UK-wide lab network, standardising processes across sites.Ensure labs meet ISO 15189 standards through QMS, audits, and continuous improvement.Optimise workflows from sample collection to result reporting.Build and develop a high-performing lab team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendors, equipment, and consumables.Who You Are:Experienced multi-site lab leader.Skilled in QMS and regulatory compliance (ISO 15189 preferred).Strategic, operational thinker with a focus on efficiency and quality.Strong people leader who fosters technical excellence.Collaborative, proactive, and patient focused.FRCPath & HCPC certified (Essential).We offer a dynamic work environment with a high degree of autonomy that fosters growth and development.
