THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a HEAD OF MARTECH DATA SERVICES for our MARTECH team in SÃO PAULO

As the Head of Data Services in our Martech Team, you will lead the strategic orchestration of data flow across our organization, utilizing your expertise to organize, govern, and deliver data through innovative dashboards and automation solutions. Your role is pivotal in integrating data science, analytics, and engineering, empowering teams for data-driven decision-making. Beyond overseeing data initiatives, you play a key part in shaping our data-driven future, collaborating globally, ensuring consistency in insights, and supporting the maintenance of our data lake. Your guidance on data visualization enhances our culture, fostering effective communication of insights. As a trusted advisor, you actively influence well-informed, data-driven decision-making at all levels, contributing to the achievement of our strategic goals.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Data Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring data quality, integrity, and ethical use throughout the organization. Establish data governance frameworks to maintain compliance with regulatory standards in partnership with our Global Analytics team.
  • Data Architecture: Lead the design and optimization of our martech data architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines, to facilitate seamless data access and utilization to our team and our stakeholders in partnership with Global Analytics.
  • Data Integration: Oversee the integration of various data sources, both internal and external, ensuring data is harmonized, standardized, and readily available for analysis.
  • Data Tools Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of leading data tools and platforms, such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Snowplow, Firebase, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
  • Dashboard Development: Drive the creation of intuitive and actionable dashboards and reports, enabling stakeholders to gain insights quickly and make informed decisions.
  • Data Automation: Spearheaded efforts to automate data processes, reducing manual interventions and enhancing data availability and efficiency.
  • Data Science: Proficiency in data science tools and languages, including Apache Airflow, Amazon EMR Studio, and SageMaker, as well as Python, and SQL, with a strong command of libraries essential for data analysis and machine learning, such as NumPy, pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. 
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, data engineers, and IT specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to your team, nurturing their growth and ensuring a high level of technical excellence in analytics engineering and data science.
  • Data Privacy & Security: Along with our Data Delivery team, implement robust data privacy and security measures, safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations within our martech ecosystem.
  • Stakeholder Management: - Expand responsibilities to encompass effective communication spanning diverse technical skill levels, adeptly engaging with data analysts on task-oriented matters, delving into highly technical discussions with data engineers, and skillfully conveying strategic pathways to high-level executives for optimal success.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A senior professional with extensive experience in data management, data engineering, or related roles within a complex organization, preferably within the realm of marketing technology;
  • Proven expertise in data architecture, integration, and governance, with a deep understanding of data tools and technologies;
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders;
  • Ethical and compliance-oriented approach to data management, upholding data ethics and privacy standards;
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA;
  • Able to adapt and stay current with emerging data technologies and trends in the industry;
  • Advanced-Fluent English skills;
