[solidcore is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Head of New Business Ventures to lead expansion into new revenue streams as we look to build on the existing [solidcore] ecosystem. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing new business opportunities that extend the [solidcore] brand and lifestyle beyond our core studio offering. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of strategic thinking and entrepreneurial execution, with the ability to move quickly from ideation to market launch while maintaining our commitment to delivering a premium experience for clients and team members.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:
Innovation Strategy & New Venture Development
Develop and execute a comprehensive new business venture strategy aligned with [solidcore]'s mission, vision, and valuesPartner with the Strategy & Insights function to identify high-potential opportunities for brand extension, new revenue streams, and adjacent market entryDeep dive into primary and secondary market research and feasibility analyses, including consumer insights, competitive landscape assessment, and financial modeling Create detailed business cases and go-to-market strategies for new venture opportunities
Product & Service Innovation
Lead development of new fitness and wellness concepts that leverage [solidcore]'s brand equity and client base in areas such as nutrition, recovery, retail products, digital fitness, and lifestyle services, among othersCollaborate with external partners, vendors, and potential acquisition targets to accelerate innovationOversee pilot programs and test-and-learn initiatives to validate new concepts before full-scale launchDesign scalable operating models for new ventures that can grow alongside the core businessAnalyze and optimize pricing strategies and monetization approaches for new offerings
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that can accelerate new venture development and market entryStructure and negotiate partnership agreements, joint ventures, and strategic alliancesEvaluate potential acquisition opportunities and manage due diligence processes, coordinating with key cross-functional partners
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
Partner closely with Operations, Marketing, Technology, Finance, People, and Real Estate teams (as relevant) to ensure an integrated approach to any new venturesCollaborate with Marketing & Brand teams to develop positioning and customer acquisition strategies for new venturesWork with Operations to ensure new ventures maintain [solidcore]'s quality standards and operational excellenceSupport the Finance team in developing business models, forecasting, and investment analysis for new ventures
Market Intelligence & Trend Analysis
Maintain a deep understanding of health and wellness industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior shiftsMonitor competitive landscape and identify white space opportunities and emerging threats by establishing market intelligence gathering processes and trend monitoring systems QualificationsWhat you will need:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Marketing, or related field; MBA from top-tier program strongly preferredMinimum 8-10 years of experience in strategy, business development, or innovation roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positionsProven experience in consumer-facing businesses, preferably in fitness, wellness, lifestyle, or related industriesDemonstrated success in launching new products, services, or business ventures from concept to market in a fast-growth environment Experience with strategic consulting (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or corporate strategy roles strongly preferred
