Job Description

About Hello Heart:

Hello Heart is on a mission to make heart attacks a thing of the past.

We’re an AI company focused exclusively on heart health, building a platform that predicts and prevents cardiac events before they happen—identifying risk up to 10 days in advance versus 10 years in traditional clinical models.

This is already working at scale. Hello Heart has been shown to reduce inpatient hospital days by 47% and deliver ~$1,800 in annual savings per member. Hello Heart is the cardiac prevention partner to over 80% of large U.S. health plans and serves hundreds of public and private employers.

We’re defining how the #1 cause of death—heart disease—is managed in the AI era. Join us.

About the Role

Hello Heart is building something rare: a platform that predicts cardiac events before they happen, at scale, with proven clinical outcomes. As our technology evolves, our story must evolve with it. This role will help shape how we communicate the full breadth of our vision—internally, with customers, and across the market—so our narrative reflects the impact we're already delivering. That's the job.

As Head of Product Marketing & Storytelling, you'll be embedded inside the product and technology org, reporting directly to the CPTO. You'll understand what we're building at the deepest level the AI, the clinical logic, the roadmap, the data and translate it into stories that move people: our team, our members, our customers, our partners, the market.

This isn't a traditional Product Marketing role. You won't be handed polished messaging to amplify. You'll be in the room where decisions are made, turning complex technology into human stories clearly backed by simple data - that make Sales close faster, CS retain better, and the world understand why Hello Heart is redefining how the number one cause of death is managed in the AI era.

We are not just launching features. We are defining cardiac AI prevention as a category. This person owns that narrative  inside the company, with customers and partners, and publicly in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Be the translator between what the tech org builds and what the rest of the org and the world needs to understand — internally, externally, and publicly.
  • Own the product narrative from feature launches to portfolio-level positioning, ensuring it lands consistently and compellingly across every audience.
  • Embedded in the product and engineering process so you understand not just what shipped, but why it matters, who it helps, and what it means for the company.
  • Champion cardiac AI prevention as a category — helping Hello Heart define and lead this space through strong points of view, consistent language, and differentiated public storytelling.
  • Turn each product milestone into a human story and an industry story — for internal teams, for health plan and employer buyers, for press and analysts, for the board.
  • Partner with the executive team to shape Hello Heart's narrative at the company level — all-hands, board decks, industry events, and press.
  • Build a storytelling standard inside the tech org — establishing how PMs and analytics leads communicate what they ship, in a format that works for every audience.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact external assets: launch announcements, sales narratives, thought leadership, customer-facing release notes, and market positioning.
  • Arm Sales and CS with the language, stories, concise data and materials they need to win and retain — pitch decks, battle cards, one-pagers, customer stories, and demo scripts.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in product marketing, content strategy, or storytelling, with experience setting direction for a B2B brand and executing against it.
  • Outstanding storyteller — strong, succinct writing and communication skills, with an eye for good design. You can synthesize large amounts of information and simplify it for different target segments in clear and effective ways.
  • Strong editorial judgment and taste. You understand what resonates with a sophisticated buyer — a health plan CMO, a benefits director, a cardiologist, a member — and you can articulate exactly why.
  • Proven track record of translating complex products into narratives that drove commercial outcomes — win rate, sales cycle, retention, or category awareness.
  • Experience with category creation or major market repositioning — not just launching features into an established narrative.
  • You've built storytelling systems that scale — frameworks, formats, and habits that others adopted — not just one-off campaigns.
  • Data-driven — you combine intuition with customer empathy and research to build strategy, measure outcomes, and inform decisions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving product org where the story evolves as the product does — you adapt without losing the narrative thread.
  • Relentless curiosity about the product, the science, and the people it helps.

Hello Heart has a positive, diverse, and supportive culture - we look for people who are collaborative, creative, and courageous. Oh, and if you want to see some recent evidence of the fun things we do at Hello Heart, check out our Instagram page.
