About the Role
The Health Coach Management team is responsible for motivating and enabling coaches to perform the best work of their careers. The Health Coach Manager supports development and performance for a team of Health Coaches and they may participate in projects related to the success of the Health Coach Organization and hiring initiatives. They understand the challenges of a member’s pain journey, and the value and importance of quality coaching to achieve long term engagement and behavior change.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISHLead a team of Health Coaches to achieve long term engagement, create a positive member experience and remain accountable to the Hinge Health coach approach. Facilitate teamwork and cultivate and maintain high levels of inclusivity, engagement and psychological safety within a team of coaches.Partner across operations functions to engage with resources that support the best work of our coaching org. This includes QA, workforce management and more. Help good employees become great. Through coaching reviews and one on one sessions, provide warm, continuous feedback, celebrate wins and don’t shy away from discussing challenges and actively support the growth and professional development of your team members.Bridge the gap between leadership and project teams and the Health Coaches, ensuring that your team is up to date with relevant information and context.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORManagement experience: We are looking for proven leaders with 2+ years of management experience.Ability to motivate and inspire: You successfully maintain a high level of motivation, positive can-do attitude, and positive culture in your teams.Results-oriented leadership: Has a track record of leading teams that consistently hit KPI’s.Handles ambiguity well: Embraces the opportunity to ask questions, get clarity and thrives in a fast paced, continually changing environment. Passion for our mission: Personal connection and/or track-record of mission-driven work.Technical Requirements: NBC-HWC certified: In depth knowledge of board certified health coaching practices and best practice behavior change strategies executed via SMS communication.Experience in a fast-paced corporate environment; ideally leading customer centric roles.Preferred: Background in exercise physiology, exercise science or pain neuroscience.
