We are looking for a high caliber individual with a proven track record in the Health Economics domain to join our HEMA team. This position is a permanent position and is based in our office in Issy-les-Moulineaux in France (in the very-close neighborhood of Paris).
Your role
You will contribute to the development and implementation of a market access strategy including building medico-economics models for our non-invasive measurements of physiological signals useful for the prevention, diagnosis, and monitoring of chronic diseases.
Clinical Evidence Generation & Health Economics
- Investigate patient management challenges and pain points for our health verticals.
- Assess how Withings products could solve these challenges and pain points.
- Monitor calls for proposals to implement Withings products potential value proposition.
- Contribute to the development of health economics models based on relevant clinical trials (or sub-studies) and internal biomarker data with input from consultants and KOLs.
- Find existing scientific literature that supports the value proposition and potential the clinical utility of Withings products.
Market Access
- Contribute to dossiers, presentations and/or other materials to articulate the value proposition associated with Withings products (or related procedures).
- Monitor payers, medical policies and technology assessments landscape.
- Provide reimbursement information to internal and external (e.g. hospitals, physicians, trade associations, etc.) stakeholders.
- Identify the clinical and health economic arguments that best resonate with key market access stakeholders in coordination with Marketing and Commercial teams.
- o Ensure clinical trial studies design includes market access purposes, by collaborating with Clinical Affairs.
- o Help build a strong medical experts and KOL network to support key market access activities (dossiers, meetings with institutions, position papers, guidelines…).
Health Technology Assessments & Reimbursement
- Contribute to reimbursement strategies in 3 top-priority European countries (France, Germany, UK).
- Help establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with key stakeholders to shape the access environment proactively.
- Benchmark best practices and interact efficiently with industrial players.
- Support the coding, coverage and payment strategy for US public and private payers.
Public Affairs:
- Participate in working meetings and external events with government departments, industry federations, healthcare professionals' unions and think tanks, in order to strengthen Withings position as a strong stakeholder in health care prevention.
- Actively monitor changes in legislative environments in the Medtech field and analyze impacts and opportunities for Withings.
- Help draft position papers to support Withings’ strategic vision.
Specific areas of responsibilities
- Identify early, transient or derogatory market access pathways for our target markets (France, UK, Germany and US).
- Identify relevant calls for proposals to build the value proposition of our physiological measurements.
- Participate in the development of payer value proposition and the building of country-dependent market access strategies.
- Contribute to public affairs activities
- Contribute to the development of health economic models to overcome reimbursement barriers in Europe and the US.
- Collaborate with stakeholders involved in health technology assessments and contribute to positive coverage decisions by HAS (France), NICE (United Kingdom), G-BA (Germany) and Medicare / US private payers.
- Collaborate with external advisers on obtaining coding, coverage and appropriate payment.
- Externally: institutions, hospitals, physicians, key opinion leaders, trade associations, payers, health technology assessment and evaluation agencies, patients advocacy groups, as well as contracting consultants.
- Internally: corporate management, finance, marketing and sales organization, B2B and clinical and regulatory affairs.
Requirements
- You have a Master's degree (e.g. MS, MPH or MBA) or equivalent preferred
- You have at least a first relevant experience in Medical Device reimbursement projects or consulting exprience.
- You have a demonstrated understanding of the Reimbursement Systems across Europe (or other assigned countries)
- You are autonomous, self-motivated and able to adapt to unexpected events.
- You like to explore, analyze, and build. You are pragmatic and resourceful.
- You already have a solid scientific culture and a thirst for understanding.
- You are creative and think outside the box. You enjoy experimenting with unusual approaches and working on interdisciplinary problems in multidisciplinary teams.
- You are tenacious and have developed a results-oriented culture.
- You will be very good at communicating your ideas and the results of your work, both in writing and orally.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Having similar capabilities in other major European languages is a plus

Salary Information
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000
