The HR Director, International, will lead the HR function across the UK, EMEA & APAC regions. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, managing HR operations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Director will work closely with senior leadership to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, drive talent management initiatives, and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the business goals and objectives.
  • Lead, design and collaborate on Global HR projects/programs.
  • Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with overall business strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.

2. Talent Management

  • Collaborate with talent acquisition on efforts to attract, recruit, and retain top talent across the region.
  • Develop and implement talent development programs, including training, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee performance management processes and ensure they are effectively executed.

3. Employee Relations

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and well-being.
  • Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Implement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.

4. HR Operations

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Oversee HR administration, including payroll, benefits, and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).

5. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB)

  • Champion DEIB initiatives and ensure they are integrated into all aspects of the HR function.
  • Develop programs and policies that promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.
  • Monitor progress and report on DEIB metrics and achievements.

6. Change Management

  • Lead change management efforts to support organizational transformations and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to ensure understanding and alignment with changes.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees during transitions.

7. HR Metrics and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on HR activities, trends, and outcomes.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 10+ years of HR experience with at least 5+ years in a senior HR leadership role within the EU and UK region.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of EMEA & APAC labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice. 
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.

Working Conditions:

  • Travel: Occasional travel required.
  • Work Environment: This role is based in London and is a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days in the office.
