Group and Position Summary
The HR Operations Team provides strategic operational support to HR sub-departments and workstreams. This team manages system and compliance onboarding for all US employee populations. Within the Process Improvement initiative, the team identifies and executes opportunities to streamline, eliminate redundancies, and optimize processes via technology solutions.
This role provides onboarding support for Referees and affiliate league players. Additionally, this role supports SuccessFactors Onboarding administration and employee, player, and referee onboarding and data validation activities. Generally, serve as an operations administrator supporting process improvement initiatives and providing operations support across HR sub-departments.
Support HR Basketball Operations in the administration of background checks for specific player and referee populations. Initiate review, escalate and adjudicate background checks, including social media reviews
Serve as backup Onboarding Coordinator for US New Hires via SuccessFactors Onboarding. Engage recruiters and candidates, as necessary, to ensure timely verification and processing of employee data (Post Hire Verification, New Employee Step and I-9 Verification) and maintain protocols and ensuring NBA NES documents are updated in SuccessFactors in a timely and efficient manner. Serve as a backup when primary is OOO and during peak hiring throughout the fiscal year.
Serve as backup support for HR Invoicing.
Provide Mobility and Relocation administration support including policy and user access maintenance, scheduling/running relocation reports, survey administration, reviewing monthly top off report for capital account, training HR stakeholders and fielding their general inquiries.
Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with manager to execute changes.
Participate and provide subject matter expertise in various technology enhancement and process improvement projects.
