The arena has witnessed many historic moments, unforgettable performances, and become an iconic landmark in the region for the most popular and important events.  

Job Summary: 

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources and Office Services Department. This includes front line servicing of employees, vendors, and visitors for Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater and the L.A. Live campus. 

Essential Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources and Office Services, and assist with other HR/business needs as required. 
  • Greet, screen, and direct visitors. Answer, assist and direct phone calls and emails from HR inboxes. Receive and deliver messages to the correct individuals. Answer and explain HR related questions.  
  • Manage conference room; schedule, maintain and cancel meetings.
  • Date stamp, sort and distribute physical mail. Maintain confidentiality with sensitive material and route it accordingly.
  • Assist office employees with ordering, moving, storing, and distributing supplies within the office, kitchen area, and other public use areas of the venue(s). 
  • Maintain employee files and related recordkeeping of personnel data, I-9 records, drug/background screening results, medical and leave information. Perform annual audit and purge or retention of Iron Mountain files as required. 
  • Assist with verifying and validating employee data in the Human Resources Information System. 
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences preferred)      
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn other business computer systems
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain professional disposition at all times, especially when interacting with high level executives
  • Highly organized and able to quickly access records and information
  • Ability to work on multiple and competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Inquisitive with a desire for continued learning
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive employee and business data
  • Lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bilingual - Spanish and English
  2. Experience in human resources

Pay Scale: $25.00 - $26.00

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
