Hydraulic Component Assembly Technician

From PAS to BBW and dampers, your expertise will ensure every component meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and competitiveness.

Main Duties: 

  • Build, strip, and service WF1 and customer hydraulic components, including but not limited to PAS, BBW, and dampers, to a consistently high standard of competitiveness, safety, and reliability, ensuring all assemblies conform to current engineering and manufacturing policies and procedures.
  • Carry out duties as instructed by the Hydraulic Assembly Team Leader, as per the daily work list.
  • Critically evaluate all components during assembly and disassembly, ensuring their integrity and reporting any faults.
  • Operate pass-off and test rigs as required.
  • Highlight any assembly or quality issues to the Team Leader or relevant design authority.
  • Ensure all assemblies are completed within deadlines.
  • Record and maintain all build and component information in the relevant systems.
  • Maintain the component assembly work environment and equipment to the highest standards of tidiness, presentation, and safety.

  • Understanding and complying with cost cap rules and requirements.
