Job Description

As an Inside Sales Membership Advisor, you are an Equinox brand ambassador.  In this role, you are the first point of contact for prospective members engaging with our brand through digital channels. You are passionate about health, fitness, and wellness, and you thrive on helping others unlock their potential. Your role is centered on managing inbound digital leads, building meaningful relationships over the phone, and guiding prospects through a seamless sales journey.

With expertise in relationship-based sales, you excel at active listening, empathy, and clear communication to understand the unique needs of each prospect, so you can provide a truly personalized and tailored approach. You are adept at tracking, managing, and nurturing leads effectively across email, phone, and SMS. You will need a high paced attitude to manage a large number of leads, while also providing a personal, luxury touch. Supported by the Centralized Sales Manager, you will work to achieve individual sales and inside sales goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will use Salesforce to track and manage your pipeline, ensuring that no lead is left behind. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet or exceed individual sales goals and to work with the in-club team to meet assisted sales targets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Sales Outreach

  • Manage and convert inbound digital leads into memberships and ancillary service packages
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with prospective members through proactive and regular communication via phone, email, or text
  • Actively listen to prospects to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, in-club assisted sales, renewals, and ancillary service targets
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Sales Director to refine sales strategies and tailor outreach to each lead

Organizational skills

  • Manage a large pipeline of digital leads and ensure high touch
  • Book appointments for leads that are interested in visiting our Clubs
  • Curate a luxury purchasing experience for inbound leads
  • Collaborate with in-club sales teams to support

Lead management

  • Use Salesforce and other digital tools to track, manage, and nurture leads effectively
  • Conduct follow-ups with leads to ensure a seamless and personalized sales experience

Brand ambassadorship

  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying Equinox’s commitment to excellence and personalized service
  • Gather feedback from new members to continuously improve the sales process and member experience
  • Stay knowledgeable about all club services, programs, and products to provide accurate information to prospects
