A bit about us

Do you want to join one of the world’s fastest growing sports technology companies?

Genius Sports is at the epicentre of the global network connecting sports, brands and fans through official live data. Our mission is simple. We champion a more sustainable sports data ecosystem that benefits all parties.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and ambitious people to join our talented team.

If you see yourself becoming part of a global family building the future of sports entertainment together, then come and grow with us.

We put trust in our people to deliver the difference for our clients around the world. It’s why many of the world’s largest leagues & federations such as the NFL, English Premier League, FIBA and NCAA choose to work with Genius Sports.

The Role

As an Integrity Analyst, you will use your understanding of how betting markets for a variety of sports operate to work within Genius Sports’ Integrity team in London, as well as with our other departments throughout the world.

Using the company’s proprietary data and software solutions, you will be part of a team responsible for identifying anomalous betting patterns and compiling professional reports for our clients – who are primarily major sports leagues and federations.

The successful applicant would ideally have experience within the betting industry or possess the ability to demonstrate their knowledge of the global betting markets. They must also possess a good overall knowledge of sports such as football and basketball, and be fluent in German.

Main Responsibilities

With a focus on German sports, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Investigating odds movements and other betting patterns using our proprietary data, monitoring systems and other sources of intelligence.
  • Supplying professional level reports explaining the betting markets clearly and concisely for non-betting experts.
  • Analysing internal data in combination with external open-source information to support investigative work.
  • Working with our development team to continually review and improve the internal reporting solutions.
  • Liaising with our global team of Integrity experts to ensure all relevant aspects of the sporting event and betting market are explained.
  • Collaborate with experts within the company who sit outside of the Integrity division – including trading, risk management, etc. – to help provide our sports partners with key information and data points relevant to their events.
  • Continually assess and review the relevant betting markets.

Desired Skills

  • Capable of writing in both German and English to a high standard.
  • Ability to speak German fluently.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of German sports (preferably football).
  • A detailed understanding of the betting industry and how bookmakers trade their markets.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to clearly prioritise work in a proactive manner and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Possess a good eye for detail with dedication to produce high quality work.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred but not essential

We Offer

  • An exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a focused, agile team.
  • Exciting work in a unique industry: great opportunity for self-development in the sports industry.
  • Opportunity to work on various different projects.
  • A fun, relaxed and stimulating modern working environment in London.
  • Supportive, friendly, multinational, enthusiastic team.
  • Career opportunity in an international company.
  • Freedom to improve your skillset across a range of different areas through training programs offered by Genius Sports and their partners.
  • Access to a range of benefits including private healthcare, paid subscription to LinkedIn Learning, and much more.

What’s in it for you?

As well as a competitive salary and annual leave allowance, our benefits include health insurance, skills training and much more, depending on the location. We also offer a host of softer benefits, including many social events throughout the year such as summer and winter holiday parties, monthly team building events, sports tournaments, charity days and wellbeing activities.

It affects different teams and locations differently, so please ask for further information in how it would work with this role.
