Overview
International growth is a strategic priority for the league. The 2023 season has been a pivotal year for the NFL in this regard with a broad slate of regular season games held outside of the US – 5 games in 3 stadia across 2 countries -- increased Club investment in international markets through our Global Markets Program (GMP), and continued investment in growing the game at every level, from building grassroots participation through flag football (NFL Flag), which will be added to the sports program for the LA28 Olympic Games, to creating pathways for international players through the NFL Academy and International Player Pathway (IPP) programs.
Underpinning this is the work undertaken by the NFL International team, across a variety of functional groups including Strategy, Marketing, Media, Consumer Products, Local Football Development and Sponsorship, to grow fandom, engagement, and our business internationally.
Summary
The NFL International Marketing Associate is a key member of the Global Marketing team and supports the Vice President and Director, International Marketing to drive international fan development, engagement and consumption. Responsibilities include management and execution of integrated marketing plans across key strategic channels and areas of focus in prioritized markets.
This role will require working closely with Global Marketing (central) team, Territory Marketing Leads and Functional Leads of key international markets to support both fan-building and revenue-driving areas of the business. The position will be actively involved in delivery and execution of global marketing strategy.
