Job Description

To carry out audits of work order completeness and cycle counting of WGPE inventory. Ensuring any discrepancies are reported to the Inventory Team. 

Main Duties: 

  • Reviewing completed work orders to ensure that orders have the required journals posted and completed such that they can be financially ended. 

  • Carrying out daily cycle counts of stock across the WGPE campus, ensuring that our physical inventory holding matches our financial reporting 

  • Reporting any short or over counting of inventory against the expected qty 

  • Reporting the incorrect location of parts 

  • Reporting any damage to part labels or location labels that would affect the auditability of our inventory

  • Fulfil all organisational expectations, including but not limited to the following:  

  • Understand and work in line with Williams Values & Behaviours, encouraging others to do the same. 

  • Ensure understanding of and compliance with health and safety obligations. 

  • Maintain personal high standards of behaviour and conduct, being a positive ambassador for the department. 

  • Ensure you adhere to brand rules and maintain high standards of department presentation. 

  • Work to quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance. 

  • Ensure understanding of cost cap rules and requirements. 

Core Competencies: 

  • Ability to interpret ERP data (training will be given) 

  • Accurately be able to count inventory  

  • Accurately be able to reflect all changes within the system 

  • Report any stock deviations to the Warehouse Supervisor and Financial Controller  

  • PC literate and able to work to instructions.  

Qualifications and Experience Level: 

  • Comfortable problem solving and decision making using leadership and time management skills. 

  • Fluent in enterprise resource planning and critical thinking. 

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and strict attention to detail. 

  • Will strive for continuous improvement. 

  • Able to interface with teams. 

  • Confident at all times.
