About us

Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Lead to join Nourish and build scalable, secure, and seamless IT infrastructure as we grow. You’ll be our first dedicated IT hire—laying the foundation for everything from onboarding workflows to identity management.

You’ll be reporting to our co-founder and CTO, Stephanie, and will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in People, Ops, Engineering, and Finance to ensure our employees have the tools, systems, and support they need to do their best work.

This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates (in-person 2-3 days/week, with flexibility), though we’re open to remote for the right person. Our office is located in the heart of Union Square.

Key responsibilities:

Own Nourish’s internal IT systems and infrastructure across our NYC HQ and remote employees
Implement and manage tools like Okta, JAMF/Kandji, Google Workspace, and Zoom
Design and maintain onboarding / off-boarding processes to ensure day-one productivity
Manage access and permissions securely for our growing SaaS stack
Set up and support our office network (Wi-Fi, firewalls, video conferencing, printers)
Partner closely with security team on device compliance, vendor reviews, and audits (SOC 2, HIPAA)

You’ve managed IT systems at a fast-growing startup (ideally 100–500 employees)
You have deep hands-on experience with MDM, SSO, SaaS administration, and endpoint security
You’ve supported hybrid or remote teams and know how to make distributed work seamless
You love automating away repetitive tasks and building scalable internal tooling
You can juggle short-term fixes with long-term infrastructure planning
You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take ownership from day one
