Main Responsibilities

• Onsite hardware and office setup/takedown;
• Preparation of equipment for production projects and support services;
• Preparation of equipment for shipments to remote workers;
• Respond to user queries sent by HelpDesk ticket, phone, email or chat, or reported in person;
• Handle onsite reboots/replacements/cabling for equipement maintained in dedicated PC farms;
• Manage, take charge of and be responsible for the resolution of hardware IT problems;
• Troubleshoot user issues on computers, laptops, consoles, mobile devices;
• Inventory management;
• This role sometimes requires physical work to prepare desk layout for project setups and to build the environment used for PC farms.

Requirements

• Able to follow the security and confidentiality measures and policies established by the company, as well as to ensure that the other members of the team do the same;
• Ability to communicate orally and written in English;
• Excellent problem solving skills;
• Strong ability to self-motivate, reliable, and able to work alone or in a team;
• Capable of working in a high-pace and evolving environment;
• Patient, professional, dynamic with a positive attitude;
• Serious and responsible;
• Knowledge of the components of a computer as well as the most common game consoles;
• Possessing a DEP in computer support or any other related field of study is an advantage;
• Work experience in the video game industry or customer service;
• In good physical condition, must be able to lift up to 50lbs (23 kg) for task such as moving office furniture/desks/PCs/servers/racks;
• Working knowledge of computer assembly and troubleshooting;

Work Schedule

• The technician must also be available and ready for changes in schedule;
• Available to work overtime as needed to fulfill role requirements. This may include extended shifts and occasional weekend hours.
