今回募集するのは、キーワーズ東京のクライアント専任チームに所属し、ゲーム翻訳をご担当いただくポジションです。

翻訳と一言でいっても、その業務内容は、実際にゲームで表⽰されるストーリーテキストから、キャラクターのセリフ、UI、プレイヤーとのコミュニケーション、マーケティング資料まで多岐にわたります。

正確に翻訳するだけではなく、直訳ではなかなか伝わらない、海外独特の方言やジョークをうまく翻訳するなど、元のゲームの世界観をより楽しんでいただくための工夫が翻訳者には求められます。

他の翻訳者やLQAチームとも協力し、ゲームの言語を最高水準に保つ役割を担っていただきます。

Keywords Studios is a leading technical service provider in the gaming industry. We have over 12,000 employees working worldwide.

We are currently looking for a linguist who will be part of a dedicated team for our client　and will be in charge of the game translation.

Game translation is a wide range of work. The linguist will be asked to translate the story text, character lines, UI, communication with players and marketing materials.

In addition to accurately translating, the linguist is required to come up with ideas to make the world of the original game more enjoyable, sometimes translating the unique foreign dialects or jokes that are not easily conveyed in direct translations.　

This role also involves collaboration with other linguists and the LQA team to ensure the highest linguistic standards of the games.

Requirements

【応募資格】

ゲーム翻訳の経験がある方
高い日本語及び英語の文章力
ゲーム・アニメ・漫画等エンターテインメント全般に関する興味・関心
基本的なパソコン操作（Word・Excel等のMSオフィス）ができる方

【歓迎条件】

翻訳ツール（MemoQ、Trados等）の使用経験がある方
モチベーションが高く、チームワークを重視する方歓迎
重圧に対応し、厳しい納期を守ることができる能力

Experience in game translation
Excellent written communication skills, both in Japanese and English
Strong interest in games, animation, comics, and other entertainment filed
Proficient PC knowledge, including knowledge of MS office products

[Nice to have skills]

Experience using CAT tools (MemoQ, Trados, etc.)
Those who are highly motivated and value teamwork
Ability to cope under pressure and to work to tight deadlines

業務内容Responsibilities

ゲーム内テキストや、プレイヤーとのコミュニケーションテキスト等の英語から日本語への翻訳
他の翻訳者が⾏った翻訳の品質のチェック
最適な翻訳品質を担保するためのプロセスの改善提案
その他翻訳に関わる業務(スタイルガイドの作成等)

Translate player support, community and in-game content from English to Japanese
Perform Quality Assurance tasks in the game
Suggest process improvements that will deliver on goal of optimal translation quality
Other work related to translation（creating style guides etc）
