The Role You'll Play

You’ll help keep the Japanese ClassPass fitness marketplace accurate, complete, and easy to use by reviewing Japanese-language partner sites, translating key schedule details, and maintaining high-quality data in our internal tools.

  • Review Japanese-language partner websites (primarily fitness) to identify key schedule and offering details
  • Translate relevant information from Japanese to English as needed to support accurate listings and internal understanding
  • Maintain partner schedule data in ClassPass internal Admin tools on a consistent cadence
  • Execute fast, accurate transaction processing, including data parsing, data entry, and data enrichment
  • Follow documented SOPs and workflows to deliver consistent quality in a structured, metrics-driven environment
  • QA your own work and, as needed, support peer QA to maintain data accuracy
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and client contacts, escalating issues and data inconsistencies in a timely way
  • Collaborate with peers to share ideas and support improvements to workflows, tools, and new initiatives

 The Experience You’ll Bring

  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English, with strong reading and writing skills in both languages  
  • Experience in data processing, data entry, operations support, or a similar detail-oriented role  
  • Ability to deliver high-volume, high-accuracy transactional work with consistent follow-through  
  • Strong attention to detail, including a habit of double-checking your work before submitting  
  • Comfort working in web-based internal tools and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)  
  • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and thrive in a structured, metrics-driven environment  
  • Clear, professional communication and the ability to manage time independently to meet deadlines  
  • Bonus if you bring Japanese-to-English translation or localization experience, familiarity with fitness and wellness in Japan, experience in BPO or shared services, JLPT N2 (or equivalent), or a track record of contributing to process improvements
