We are looking for someone with:

A part-qualified Accountant currently studying for ACCA (or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting or finance role or as an auditor.
Experience processing invoices that reflect current VAT regulations, including identifying and applying the correct tax rates with knowledge of both Brazil and the UK desirable.
Good knowledge of Accounting and IFRS.
The individual is a motivated, reliable and adaptable team member who can proactively contribute to delivering solutions.
Fluent in English and fluency in Portuguese is a bonus.
Willingness to learn as the company grows it’s operations across other regions like Brazil
Industry experience is desirable but not essential.
Structured approach to balancing multiple demands and priorities.
Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.

What you will be doing:

Recording of invoices according to Group & local tax requirements both in Brazil and of the UK.
Supervision of Fixed Assets module in the finance system.
Assist in accuracy of the general ledger and journal entries together with preparing monthly account reconciliations as part of monthly close process.
Recording of employee and corporate card expenses.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations with different currencies.
Assist in the preparation of intercompany invoices and monthly reconciliation.
Participation in statutory and group yearly Audits.
